If you are hosting an event and find catering for large numbers difficult, we can give you a cost effective solution.
Using our state of the art commercial oven, we can slow roast beef, lamb, pork or chicken. After cooking we slice the roasts and add a steaming traditional gravy. When you drop into our shop you will receive ready to eat roasts in our special "transportable hot boxes". These are fully sealed (no mess) and will keep your roast steaming hot for up to six hours. All you have to do is simply remove the clamp-down lid and serve straight from the stainless steel dishes.
Our service provides a much cheaper alternative to full catering services which usually start at around $15 - $20 per head for basic roasts with salads etc.
By providing your own salads etc. and allowing us to provide the cooked and sliced roasts at a cost of $8.50 per head you will greatly reduce the cost of hosting an event.
Our cooking / slicing service is available for a minimum of 30 people. Prices for ready-made coleslaw, pasta salad, potato salad and curry pastas are available on request.
We usually require at least one week's notice for orders and a small deposit at time of ordering is requested.
Our transportable "hot boxes" are to be cleaned and returned to out shop at a convenient date.
Combinations of hot roast and cold sliced meats are also available. Platters of our popular honey cured leg ham, smoked chicken breast or sliced corned silverside are a popular choice in the warmer months.
